After months of wait, Rajasthan Tourism (Palace on Wheels) announces its new General Sales Agent (GSA). Travelogy India, a renowned travel agency from New Delhi has been assigned as the new GSA by the Government of India Ministry of Tourism and IATO.

This deal of Rs1.55 crores was signed at the beginning of the month. The announcement was made by the Vice President of Federation of Hospitality and Tourism of Rajasthan, Mr. Khalid Khan. He expressed his happiness in this new tie-up and commented that he is really hopeful that this new coordination will help them promote Palace on Wheels more effectively throughout the world.

Chief General Manager of Palace on Wheels, Mr. Pradeep Bohra also expressed his happiness and confidence on associating with Travelogy India Pvt Ltd. He also commented that Palace on Wheels has been the pioneer of luxury trains in the country and from past 35 years have generated immense revenue for the Indian tourism industry. He hoped that Travelogy India will help them boost the revenue generation and provide better services to the customers.

On the other hand, Business Head of Travelogy India, Mr. Santosh Gupta seemed extremely satisfied with this deal.

He also informed that Travelogy India has already started generating sales and revenue for Palace on Wheels; the site has already booked 51 passengers on this luxury train through their exclusive Palace on Wheels website, https://www.thepalaceonwheels.org/.

He also ensured that the portal will be extremely well maintained and ensure that it is user friendly so that tourists do not face any issues while booking tickets on this portal.

Palace on Wheels is one of the most traditional luxury trains from India. The train has been bestowed with several world famous awards for its extremely well decorated suites, unparalleled ambience and hospitality.

With 14 air conditioned coaches and Rajputana décor, Palace on Wheels is once again starting its voyage through Rajasthan from September 2018.
