UAE: Dubai Art District @Alserkal Avenue

We ran into the Alserkal Avenue by pure chance, after getting to the Pump Fitness gym in the industrial zone of Al Quoz, in Dubai. As I am still new in town, I zoomed on Google Maps to see what was around the gym we could visit and the Salsali Private Museum appeared. I called to see if we could visit and they said it’s now only opened upon appointment, which we did book one 15 minutes before arriving!

Free entry

After the SPM, we went to see what other place around was opened and ended up in Noor Bahjat‘s exhibition. We then ended up in The Cartel. Discovering this place was amazing, it was filled with quirky and very fashionable pieces from designers around the world.

Our favorite find was the A4 Space by Alserkal Avenue, a freelance workspace that’s free of entry and open to everyone! I am pretty sure I will end up there very often! There is free wifi, a cinema room, tons of desks, an Appetite café, a book collection, just the perfect setting to meet, collaborate and incubate projects.
