Paris Bakery – A Bakery Mall !

Tags: bakery cake plain

Paris Bakery has established itself as a brand to go to for all your bakery product needs primarily in Eastern India. They are quite famous for their cake options custom-made to events and festivals. On a visit to Bhubaneswar in the state of Odisha is when I came across one of their stores in the Patia locality of the city. The range of products is quite varied. The outlet also has a few tables available for folks wanting to grab snacks right there. Lot of people were mainly coming in for picking up or ordering their customized cakes and while I did not grab one, let’s take a look at what else was in store for me here in addition to the Breads and Buns.

Well, where do I start , there was so much here that one will be spoilt for choices and end up buying lots at the end of it. Here’s a few that I would pick or actually did – Sugar Free Oats Cookies for your healthier option. Chilli Flakes or Plain Puffs, did try the plain one and it tasted like puff as expected ! It’s plain and simple !

Biscuits and Rusks were on display as I went scanning by each counter – variations available in Fruit, Jeera, Almonds, cashews, plain and all other possible that they could think off ! I opted for an assortment after spending a few mins unable to decide which one to go for and pretty happy with how all of it tasted.

My top pick among the biscuits was the Pista Salted one.

In addition to their customized cakes , there is also these readily available options of Fruit, Plain, Vanilla and Plum ( at least till what I glanced through) Cakes that one could opt for. Plum  cake is what I went with and it ticked all the boxes too.

It’s a bakery yes but then expect much more than just bakery products here – Samosa’s , chaat , pizza, mocktails, burger, sandwich, hotdog, hot and cold beverages – go for anything you prefer.I opted for samosa chat and paneer bun/kulcha and while they were good I wouldn’t call them the best I’ve had. My preference would be to stick to bakery products more.

Traversing across the city of Bhubaneswar, did find a few other outlets but the Patia one is where I ended up visiting a few times as it was closer to where I was staying. Overall a definite recommendation for all your bakery needs.
