Context Based Pasting Feature Is Coming To Android

As of the reports, the search giant Google has been working on a new feature called copyless pasting for the Android version of Google Chrome from February onwards. The Google blog explains that it is a kind of predictive copying and pasting.

For example, if you are visiting a shoe shop's website and after that, you switch to the map's app, then with this new features Google will automatically copy and paste the shop's name into the Google maps search box and show you the results automatically. It is yet to be confirmed if these things are automatically copied to clipboard or not. If it is being copied to the clipboard, there will be a great disadvantage it is that the previously copied things that we plan to keep in our clipboard will automatically be lost without our permission. That would lead us to unnecessary loss of data.

From Google Chrome version 59 and upwards, the new feature will be available from Chrome Flags section. As of the reports, it has not yet started working. It is expected that Google will announce this new feature along with other updates in the upcoming I/O Developer Conference.
