Honor Magic 2 gets certified by TENAA, specs revealed

Honor’s upcoming flagship phone called the Honor Magic 2 finally gets certified by TENAA, a compulsory Chinese certification authority. A smartphone with model numbers TNY-AL00 and TNY-TL00 have made their way at TENAA. Both of them are basically the same handsets with one being carrier specific. The Honor Magic 2 measures 157.32 x 75.13 x 8.3 mm and has weight of 206 grams. It has dual SIM slots and supports dual 4G VoLTE. It runs on Android 9.0 Pie OS with EMUI 9.0 on top. The Honor Magic 2 will feature in in-display fingerprint sensor. It has 6.39-inch AMOLED display with 2340 x 1080 pixels resolution, 19.5:9 aspect ratio and multi-touch support. The Honor TNY-AL00 and TNY-TL00 comes with an octa-core (2.6GHz A76 x 2 + 1.92GHz A76 x 2 + 1.8GHz A55 x 4) Kirin 980 processor with ARM Mali-G76MP10 GPU. It has 6GB / 8GB LPDDR4X RAM with 128GB / 256GB storage options. In terms of optics, TENAA lists the phone with 16MP + 24MP +16MP shooters and LED Flash. Front side houses 16MP and 2 TOF lenses. A 3400 mAh battery powers the hardware and supports 40W fast charging. The mobile also comes with Gravity sensor, Proximity sensor and Ambient Light sensors. Usual connectivity options like dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.0 LE, GPS, NFC, USB Type-C etc. The Honor Magic 2 will come in Black core. It is slated to go official on October 31st.
