Technology we don’t use: Use laptop as your Bluetooth headset


People, who are continuously on the Laptop, don’t need to take calls on mobile. If your phone and laptop is Bluetooth enabled, you can use laptop as a Bluetooth headset.

Follow these steps:
  • Start Bluetooth in both the device
  • Search Bluetooth places in laptop
  • Find you mobile device and Map the devices by required verification
  • Right click on the device’s icon
  • Go to Advanced Operation
  • Click on “Connect to handsfree audio gateway”
While you are using your laptop as Audio Gateway, you can talk on phone using Mic and Speaker of your laptop. This is very useful when you are on long calls or some conference calls, because you can use Computer headphone (with mic) to feel more comfortable on longer calls. It’s helpful when more than one person want to communicate from one place and one connection. Mostly, these days we have 3.5 mm audio output jack so we can directly connect speaker with mobile but limitation is when we need to give input as our voice, this idea fails. Except for this, you can enjoy playlist of mobile on the computer speakers, without transferring songs to your laptop or computer. You can get high quality output of sound of your mobile phone songs. Its good experience so please try this once.
