Hyundai Being Hydrogen Cars

Hyundai ix35 Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle (FCEV) white out of the factory in Ulsan, South Korea, yesterday (26/2). With so Hyundai became the first manufacturer to produce a vehicle with no-emission hydrogen powered.

17 Hyundai ix35 FCEV will be sent to Copenhagen (15 units) and Skane Sweden (2 units). Hyundai plans to produce 1000 Hyundai ix35 FCEV to 2015 for fleet lease to the public and companies, especially in the European region.

According to Hyundai, the car is just a few minutes to recharge (refueling) hydrogen. Of course it's much faster than electric cars.

With full fuel, the ix35 FCEV can roam up to 594 km. Consumption of hydrogen required 0.95 kg/100 km, equivalent to 27.8 km / liter.

 





Energy spent 100 kW fuel cell. Top speed is 160 kph and the car acceleration 0-100 kph in 12.5 seconds.

Hyundai ix35 FCEV is the result of 14 years of research and investment of several hundred million euros. Hundreds of experts from the engineering R & D center in Drunk Hyundai ix35 FCEV are involved in the development. Tests on ix35 FCEV includes more than 2 million kilometers in Europe, Korea and the USA.
