Albert Heijn lets users log in with bol.com account

Albert Heijn has made a link with the accounts of bol.com. Users who have an Account with the webshop can also use this for the supermarket. Bol.com and Albert Heijn are both part of Ahold Delhaize.

The account link only works from bol.com to AH. Users can not log in to bol.com with an AH account. If users want to log in with their bol.com account at the supermarket they have to link their account themselves. They are given the choice to share previously entered data. By default, the choice is ‘no data sharing’.

Bol.com and AH also combine their delivery service. Users who have an AH delivery bundle receive the bol.com Select subscription. That is a service for free delivery of small items and delivery on weekends or evenings, which normally costs 10 euros per year. The AH Bezorgbundel is a monthly subscription for home delivery of groceries and that costs 8 euros or 10 euros depending on the delivery days.

Albert Heijn and bol.com are both owned by Ahold Delhaize. In 2012 , Ahold bought the web store for 350 million euros.
