Dubai Smart Government, the technical arm of Dubai Smart Office, has organized a workshop for executives and technical teams in various parts of the Government of Dubai to discuss the artificial intelligence roadmap in Dubai and raise their level of expertise with Saad , a government intelligence service.

In October 2016, in cooperation with the Department of Economic Development and in partnership with IBM, the Dubai Smart Government Foundation launched the Saad service, the first government service in Dubai based on artificial intelligence, BM”. The service aims to answer the queries of entrepreneurs and investors about the launch of their business in Dubai, and provide them with instantaneous information on various topics, including the requirements of business licenses and registration process.

At the opening session of the workshop, Dr. Aisha Bent Butti Bin Bishr, Director General of Dubai Smart Office, unveiled the Dubai Strategy for Artificial Intelligence. “We believe that technology is a way to harness creative and innovative services to add more happy experiences in Dubai. Dubai Smart Office’s plan to create the Artificial Intelligence Laboratory will be announced soon in partnership with IBM, previously referred to as Artificial Intelligence Skills. The lab aims to achieve the vision of Dubai Artificial Intelligence and will contribute to the development of artificial intelligence services for Dubai residents. The laboratory will also provide government agencies and partners with the skills and knowledge needed to develop their cloud computing services and applications.
