It is nearly two decades after the release of Windows 95, an operating system which strengthened the presence of Microsoft in the enterprise software domain. Fast-forward to today, desktops have taken a back seat and smartphones are the talk of the town, and Microsoft is not winning. But, that hasn’t stopped Covin Davenport from porting Windows 95 onto a wearable. The wearable is Android 4.4 powered Samsung Gear Live watch. The OS takes a lot of time to boot and opens with a error message. Nonetheless, the user is able to browse the start menu and move the cursor around the screen. However, he is unable to open any applications because the OS runs out of RAM. Tough luck! That is not a dead end rather a roadblock to find a roundabout to indicate to the OS that we have enough RAM. Also, this version is using the windows android emulator ADOSBOX which is available on the Play Store.
