How Can I Watch the Unpacked Event?

Samsung has confirmed it will host a live stream for the upcoming event, so you can watch along. The link for this live stream will be available on samsung.com and social media channels of the phone maker. Also, you can expect a full report of the new devices to be launched here on PhoneCorridor.

What Devices Will Be Launched?

2019 is the 10th anniversary year of the Galaxy, so there will be a double celebration with the anticipated unveiling of the Samsung Galaxy S10. However, rumors suggest that there could be different models:

Samsung Galaxy S10 and S10 Plus

The unveiling of the Samsung Galaxy might steal the show during the Feb. 20 Unpacked event

From all indications, the Galaxy S10 might be the focus of the event and is likely to come in 2 different sizes as we saw in previous years. It is likely that the devices will share a lot of similarities in their hardware specification and will be engineered with the 7nm Qualcomm Snapdragon or Exynos 9820 depending on the region, brand-new UFS 3.0 inbuilt storage (potentially as much as 512GB), AMOLED displays of sizes 5.8” or 6.1”, a new dual-lens selfie shooter, and 4 lenses at the rear.

As regards software, the Samsung Galaxy S10 will feature Android v9.0 Pie, overlaid with its new OneUI. The upcoming smartphone will also focus heavily on AI as it will offer support for both Samsung’s own Bixby client as well as the Google Assistant.

Samsung Galaxy S10X

It has been rumored that there will be a supercharged variant of the Galaxy S10, which will be called the Samsung Galaxy S10X. It is suggested this mobile device — codenamed Beyond X — is going to be the 5G version of the S10 that is set to be launched in the United States and Korea initially. The S10X will be released as a premium version of the S10 and will come with four cameras, a bigger 6.7” AMOLED display, along with huge modifications to internal specs, which will be 10GB RAM and 1TB of inbuilt storage.

Samsung Galaxy E

Also, according to the rumor mills, Samsung is planning to launch a budget version of the Galaxy S10, which will be called the Samsung Galaxy E or “lite”.

Samsung Galaxy Pulse

It has equally been speculated that Samsung will update the Gear Sport with a model, called the Galaxy Pulse. This device will be a brand new Tizen-based wearable.

Samsung Galaxy F

We might also see Samsung’s folding phone announced in the event. This novel handset was showcased at the 2018 Samsung Developer Conference, but then, it is difficult to state with certainty whether the phone maker will be unveiling it at the event or will schedule it for Mobile World Conference, which will take place immediately after the Unpacked event.
