Tags: fake number join

There is a burning question of every job seeker’s mind when he is going to Join a new job.’Is the company I am going to join is real? Is the company legit?

According to HUFFPOST  “This rate of unemployment is the highest seen in India in at least the last 20 years.”

The youth unemployment is very high and is almost 16% in India.

So in these circumstances getting a new job is really difficult if you have not enough skill-sets.

This also opens a huge floodgate of fraudsters exploiting the situation. There are many such fraud agencies, consultancies out there who just cheat the job-seekers especially the freshers who are about to join a new job.

Most of the cases they charge a deposit fee or registration fee from the job seekers and then promised them to place in a good company.

Some also promised them to offer them jobs in different states with attractive salary packages!

The job seekers follow them blindly and finally realize that they have been cheated big time!

This is a common story of the millions of youth of India today who are aiming to join a private sector job in private limited companies!

So is there no way to prevent this?

Hopefully YES!

But most of them do not know how to do it.

In this post, I will demonstrate how to know a company real or Fake.

It just takes 2 minutes to do it. It is an online process so you can check it from anywhere you would like to.

Not only that you will also able to check company registration Number, company registration status, check company shareholders and other such company details precisely.

So let’s start!

How to check if a company is legitimate

Step 1: Head over directly to the website (Ministry of Corporate Affairs,Govt.of India): http://www.mca.gov.in/mcafoportal/showCheckCompanyName.do

If you know the company name, please enter it in the ” Company / LLP Name “Field.

After that, you will get the details about the below details in no time.

If you find the above details correctly you can be pretty confident that the company is not a fake one and is registered under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Govt. Of India.

But instead of this if you get a popup error below it is a red flag for you and the company simply doesn’t seem to be legit.

Sometimes it may take some time to show up in the listing but if you find this error while searching please double check about the company once again before joining.

Step 2: In this step, you can further enhance your research about the concerned company a bit more.

To do this you have to search for the Master data of the company.

Simply head over this URL: http://www.mca.gov.in/mcafoportal/viewCompanyMasterData.do

Just insert  the data( LPIN/CIN/Form INC-1 Ref No Company / LLP Name number) you obtained in  Step 1.
