Oppo has finally unveiled its official flagship 2018 – the Oppo Find X. It is the second smartphone after the NEX lineup of Vivo with a "real" "Screenless display without noticeable notch at the front.
But where is the selfie camera? Oppo did something similar to Vivo and added a pop-up engine to retract the Camera when the camera app is launched – but this time there are three pop-up cameras instead of a 3D face recognition unit.
The idea is not exactly unique, but shows slight improvements in comparison with the iteration of Vivo. Oppo also went with a Samsung-like curved edge display. Anyway, let's go into the details.
Design and representation
The first thing you notice is the distinguishing external design from Find X, which looks both futuristic and premium. The phone resembles a Galaxy S9 +, both phones have a similar footprint, but with a larger screen and narrower edges on the Oppo Find X. The back is clear without any visible fingerprint sensor, the rear camera's slide out like the slider -phones from 1945
Find X is completely dependent on face recognition and does not have a fingerprint reader for in-display. The system has to slide out of the phone – it only takes 0.5 seconds – and pops out of your face for a moment and immediately goes back. Flashing things.
