Xamoi Mi India announced its 1^st collaboration Android phone MiA1 an Android One phone powered by Google.

A couple of years back Google has announced budget friendly smart phone for everyone in India to under the name of Android One even though the phone comes at a low price it hasn’t made a great move in the Indian market.

With the collaboration of Mi, India Google has announced a new budget friendly smart phone to India users.

We know Mi has made an excellent market in India with its Xiomi phones which are being sold in millions in every sale through Amazon India and Flipkart.

MiA1 is the first phone by Xiaomi which comes with Stock Android, this grabs stock Android lovers attention towards this phone.

As discussed above we this is the first Stock android phone my Mi, we can say this is going to be the best performance device as Mi always have excellent specs and the only lag is its Mi UI which makes some time the phone under performance device.

One of the best features in MiA1 is it comes with a dual camera setup to capture awesome pictures in any occasion. Its 2x optical zoom helps to capture the detailed images. Its telephoto lens enables up to 2x optical zoom help to capture uncompromised pictures with a good depth in photos even at a distance.

Design and Dimensions  

MiA1 is 7.3mm ultra-thin metal body which gives a premium look and feels while holding in the hand. Its smooth rounded edge corners make the phone a perfect grip while holding for a long time.

MiA1 comes in 13.5cm (5.5 inches) FHD display with 2.5D glass on the front which gives a better viewing experience if you watch videos or play games for a long time.

Same as like the other Mi products it has a finger print sensor at the back which helps to quickly unlock the device.

Camera

Well, smart phones these days come with a great camera, in fact, it gives good competition to high-end DSLR cameras in image stabilization segment.

MiA1 has a 12MP camera with 1.25μm with an aperture of f/2.2 and 26mm equivalent focal length and 5-pieces lens with two tone flash to capture awesome pictures with great depth and feel.

Mi says you can take some amazing photos with this MiA1 as it is powered with a telephoto lens with f/2.6 and 2x optical zoom which helps to take sharper images by giving a decent blur in the background without missing any quality.

Coming to front facing camera MiA1 comes with 5MP 1.12μm and aperture of f/2 to capture beautiful profile pictures along with face recognition.

Mi A1 supports to record video of 4K resolution with 30 fps and 720p slow motion video at 120 fps.

Under this price segment, we can say MiA1 is the best device to grab as it comes with Snapdragon 625 Octa-core processor along with Adreno 506 graphics 650MHz which helps to play high-end games without any lag.

As the device is powered with stock Android you will not face any lag while switching app or performing multi tasks.

The phone has 4GB of RAM with 64GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 128GB by adding micro SD card.

Battery

MiA1 comes with 3080mAh battery capacity with USB type-C charging port which is situated at the bottom of the phone.

As the phone is powered by Android 7.1 (Nougat) with stock android it will defiantly give better battery performance compared to other Mi UI devices.

Connectivity

MiA1 has a hybrid SIM slot which helps to add Nano SIM with MicroSD card. If you want to use 2 SIM cards then you need to compromise for using SD card.

I think 64GB with a stock android is more than enough for common users to use the device rapidly.

Device supports Volte / 4G / 3G / 2G connectivity’s.

Mi has remained its most unique feature infrared port on this device which helps to control all the IR supported devices like AC, TV etc with the phone using a simple app.

MiA1 is going to open its sales online from 12th September 2017 on its official store Mi.com/in and another online shopping site like Amazon.

MiA1 is going to available off line also with authorized Mi sellers.

Is this phone worth buying?

This is the 1^st phone by Mi in collaboration with Google for Android One project, as it comes with stock android it is definitely worth trying if you want to switch your old smart phone.

We all know the build quality of Mi and it runs in the stock Android operating system and it is made under the guidance of Google so under this budget it is worth giving a try.

If you want to go with MiA1 I would like to suggest to go with black color variant as it gives a premium feel. May people say it looks like an iPhone device well I don’t want to mention it however it gives a good look at this price segment.
