Samsung has finally launched the latest variants of its budget J series of smartphones. Samsung Galaxy J6 is priced at .at ₹13,990 for the 3GB RAM/32GB internal storage variant and ₹14,490 for the 4GB RAM/64GB internal storage variant. Samsung Galaxy J8 is priced ₹18,990.
Both the smartphones will go on sale in India starting 22nd May via Paytm Mall, Amazon India, Samsung E-store and Samsung retail stores. There is also ₹1,500 cashback if you buy the smartphones via Paytm mall app. ICCI bank credit card holders will also get ₹1,500 cashback across all stores. Samsung is also offering one-time screen replacement offer for purchases until 20th June 2018.
Samsung Galaxy J6 and Galaxy J8 Specifications
Both the smartphones are available in Black, Blue and Diamon colour variants. Samsung Galaxy J6 is powered by a 1.6Ghz Exynos 7 series octa-core processor coupled with 3GB/4GB RAM and 32GB/64Gb of internal storage expandable via MicroSD up to 256GB.
Galaxy J6 sports a 5.6-inch HD+ 18:5:9 aspect ratio infinity display with Samsung Super AMOLED panel. The dual-SIM smartphone runs on Android 8.0 oreo out of the box with Samsung Experience UI on top. Both the J series smartphone sports a polycarbonate body.

The smartphone comes with a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera with f/1.9 aperture and LED flash. The front-facing camera is of 8-megapixel with a f/1.9 aperture. Both the cameras support Live Bokeh and background blue shape.
It uses micro-USB for charging and data syncing and houses a 3,000mAh battery. In terms of connectivity, Samsung J6 comes with WiFI, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, GPS, and headphone jack. Both the smartphone comes with a rear placed fingerprint scanner.

Samsung Galaxy J8 is powered by a 1.8Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 octa-core processor coupled with 4GB RAM and 64Gb of internal storage expandable via MicroSD up to 256GB. Galaxy A6 sports a 6-inch HD+ 18:5:9 aspect ratio infinity display with Samsung Super AMOLED panel.
The dual-SIM smartphone runs on Android 8.0 oreo out of the box with Samsung Experience UI on top. The smartphone comes with a dual rear camera setup with a 16-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.7 aperture and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor with f/1.9 aperture. The front-facing camera is of 16-megapixel with a f/1.9 aperture. Both the cameras support Live Bokeh, background blue shape and come with LED flash.
