Nest’s new Security Camera is probably the best security Camera Nest Camiq. It is available for pre-order for $299 or single and $498 for 2 pack.

Nest’s has some of the best security camera’s, with its Indoor and Outdoor cameras. The Next CamIQ comes built-in intelligence to distinguish a person from a thing. The earlier version were dependent on Nest Aware cloud to do the processing of the video and send alerts.

It has a better sensor (4k sensor) and supersight which enable to automatically zoom in and follow the person.

It will recognize family members and people who are supposed to be at your home (e.g. your dog walker) and alerts accordingly. So now, you don’t have to be disturbed when the security camera alerts even for people you know or people who are supposed to be at your home.

The face recognition comes with Nest cloud subscription to NestAware subscription (free trial is available.

The dimensions are 4.9 inches in height and 2.9 inches width. The camera can also distinguish between a person and a thing or animals (e.g your dog or cat).

The live footage or video is 1080p with zoom feature and the camera has a large 130 degree field of view. It also comes with a powerful speaker and microphone with noise and echo suppression. Nest calls it security camera with brains.
