Google Classroom lets you create classes for anyone

Google Classroom makes learning possible anytime, anywhere. Learners aren’t always sitting in a classroom, and educators aren’t always lecturing at a chalkboard. Thats why Now Google Classroom lets you create classes for anyone, anytime, anywhere.

Google Classroom lets teachers teach and learners attend classes in many different environments, manage assignments, raise questions, improve skills and instantly collaborate all with their Personal Google Accounts.

Previously, personal Google accounts could only join classes already started by G Suite accounts. Now, any regular user can create classes and manage curriculum.

Another cool feature of update is Teachers can now invite students and co-teachers by email to join a class. Students can receive email and mobile notifications when they have unsubmitted work that’s due within 24 hours.

Students can see all of their assignments on an assignments page, and all class materials (e.g., documents, photos, and videos) are automatically filed into folders in Google Drive.
