5 Mind-blowing tech you haven’t heard of

Our world is full of creativity, especially when it comes to tech and gadgets. Many of these gadgets take off without a hitch, mainly because they were fulfilling a need at the time.

Others seem to fall through the cracks when it comes to how they’re received by consumers. This can happen for a multitude of reasons, such as they simply aren’t hyped up enough prior to their launch or don’t have the funding to back up the build or design of the product.

The gadgets we’ve never Heard of are the ones that end up being the most interesting, though. Check out some of the most mind-blowing gadgets most of us have never heard of:

Air to Fuel

ALALYSIS: Artificial Intelligence: Forget Terror, Robots Could Be Trump’s Greatest Threat

This tech company in the UK, Air Fuel Synthesis, has created this process of extracting CO2 from our atmosphere. Once the CO2 is captured from the air, it is then mixed with hydrogen and a catalyst to create fuels like methanol, diesel fuel, and petrol.

Critics have pointed out that this process would still release toxins into the air. In response, the company claims the amount of toxins it would release is comparable to those released by factories that make beer and bread. The process still hasn’t gained much traction.

The Self-Tying Shoe tech

READ INTENSIVELY ABOUT THESE NIKE SHOES

Nike is no stranger to innovation, and they’re new HyperAdapt 1.0 proves it. This self-tying Shoe uses a small motor under the sole to tie the laces for the perfect fit every time.

Since the shoe is battery-operated, Nike suggests a charge every two or three weeks after regular use. If I had known we would eventually reach an invention like a shoe that tied itself for me, I would have spent my early years learning other things like how to do my taxes.

The Rolling Bench

The Dry Side, created by Japan-based Yanko Design, is the perfect solution to the wet bench issue plaguing parks all around the world. The bench uses a simple handle to rotate the wet seat of the bench around to the bottom, thus exposing the dry side for you to rest your tired bum. It’s easy enough for anyone of any age to use without trouble.

Leave it to Japan to create something simple, but desperately needed, right? Why has this not come sooner, and why aren’t we talking more about it?

Vessyl and Pryme Vessyl

This one is a two-for-one. With all of the different dietary needs we all have these days, it’s a wonder we are surviving. Vessyl aims to help us out by detecting the nutritional value of whatever liquid is poured inside it. Want to know how unhealthy that coffee is? How about that soda you love so much?

Give it a pour! Pryme Vessyl tracks the nutritional value of the liquid you drink on its accompanying smartphone app. The app lets you see your progress as you switch from sodas and energy drinks to more water, fruit juices, and other healthier options. I really want to try it with wine. Who’s with me?

Thync tech

Check out our in-depth analysis of Thync

Thync works by stimulating your nerves using an electric current. I know this sounds like electrocution, but hear me out. The device is placed on the person’s forehead, and releases currents to help relieve stress, create better sleep patterns, and increase mental productivity.

Although many of its reviews seem positive, I’m still stuck on the use of the words ‘electric current.’ Maybe that’s why many people haven’t heard of it yet.

There are many devices out there that encourage productivity and lifestyle changes, not just the ones you see at your local Brookstone store. Have you heard of, or maybe even used, any of the gadgets on this list? Do you use one that people haven’t heard of yet?
