The last weekend was a little bit confusing in terms of Fantasy Football. After all, there were only four matches on and only one of the teams playing (Liverpool) had players that were very attractive to Fantasy Football players. Apart from Luka, you understand. Everyone should have Luka.
And with an international break now upon us, the whole Fantasy Football thing will be forgotten as quickly as the snow at Old Trafford by the time we get to see it in action again.
I did one thing right, though I am sure 99.9% of the players in the world also did the same. I signed Mo Salah and made him captain.
I’ll show you my four point-getters before introducing you to the other changes I’ve made for the run-in.
Jordan Pickford, 3 points
Jordan and Everton managed to get 3 points at the Bet365 Stadium against Stoke City. Who knows what could have happened if Charlie Adam hadn’t got sent off and Shaqiri could have played the full 90?
Luka Milijovecic, 10 points
This guy is fast becoming a favourite of mine. Another penalty, of course, and he picked up another two bonus points. Palace will stay up and he will have had a big say in their survival.
Mo Salah, 29 points
Why on Earth did I forget that the triple captain option existed? Mo was signed to replace Harry Kane even though he is down as a midfielder. 4 goals against Watford is a fine debut for me and I am hoping I haven’t jinxed his stunning form by bringing him into the side. HANG ON? 29 points?? I made him captain! For F**K’s sake – every week the website f**ks me about.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin, 8 points
Yeah, because I’d make him captain. It’s a conspiracy.

Not that I really care now, after that Salah captaincy shocker.
Oh, go on then.
I have also brought in Heung-Min Son as the guy is playing absolutely incredibly, meaning I have a midfield five of Luka, Dele Alli, Son, Salah, David Silva. That really is not too bad. With Sergio Aguero as my main striker with Glenn Murray (hopefully fresh from being sub on Saturday) and Dominic Calvert-Lewin as the other strikers, we can have a decent run-in.
Of course, we probably won’t!
