Asia Cup 2018: What should be India's Playing XI



Team India will play their first match of this Asia Cup against Hong Kong on 18 of September. Stand In Captain Rohit Sharma would like to solve India's No. 4 conundrum.

As skipper Rohit Sharma said in the press conference Asia Cup gives us chance to get the combination right before World Cup. there are many players on the team who will get the chance before the world cup.

India's regular Skipper is rested for Asia cup and in his absence, Kl Rahul will have the opportunity to have some runs on the bank playing at no. 3. 

Openers - 

Team India will go with their regular openers Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma, and Dhawan will have a chance to prove as didn't perform in the England tour and Rohit Sharma would like to continue the form that he had in England tour.

Middle Oder - 

In the absence of Virat Kohli, it is most likely that KL Rahul will play at no. 3. there are many players who fit at no. 4 like Raydu, Manish Pandey and Dinesh Karthik. pandey and Dinesh Karthik didn't perform in England tour and Raydu who was not there in England will likely to play at no. 4 and  Dhoni will come at 5. 

Allrounder  -

Hardik Pandya and Kedar Jadhav will play at no. 6 and 7. Kedar Jadhav provides an extra option for the skipper that sometimes prove helpful.

Bowlers - 

Jasprit Bumrah and Bhuvneshwar Kumar will be the two fast bowlers and the spin duo will be Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav.
