The vibe is fashionable, modern, and avant-garde design with futuristic lighting and includes plenty of seating for relaxing after dancing and getting a cocktail.

City Hall

We all agree that City Hall is one of Barcelona’s best dance clubs. Built towards the beginning of the 19th century and was first the Barcelona Theater, that makes City Hall one of the oldest club venues in town! Since then, it has been restored to be more sophisticated and modern without losing its older charm. Located near Plaza Cataluyna, the club’s classic bare light bulbs look, the beautiful space, gorgeous velvet curtains, and old-fashioned theater elevators make this club a sight to see. A dance club and disco, City Hall mixes its own productions with external high quality productions as CLUB4, Checkpoint, Happy Techno that doubles its cool factor. One reviewer called it the “best and authentic electronic club in town.” If you want a unique Spanish clubbing experience, this is the place.

W Hotel’s Eclipse Bar

A must-stop if you want to check out he most fabulous clubs/bars in Barcelona, the famous W Hotel’s 26th floor bar is bound to amaze. Reserve a VIP table or put your name on the list and try one of the fun and inventive cocktails by our master mixologists as well as the creative “Sushi Fusion” cuisine. The Watermelon Martini, Passion Fruit Martini or classic mojito are well known favorites. The club interior has wrap-around windows throughout the bar to experience Barcelona from a bird’s-eye view, along with long comfortable chairs facing the open windows to enjoy the view of the vibrant beach side of Barcelona. We can’t think of anything better.

Shoko

It might be crawling with tourists at times, but the nightclub Shoko brings in locals and club goers from all over that want to experience one of Barcelona’s best seaside clubs. The day time restaurant and lounge club has an outside terrace to eat overlooking the beach serving up Mediterranean and Asian cuisine. As the sun goes down, the club comes out with the most popular and current R&B and hip hop music along with special theme nights and live shows. Shoko is also an official venue for the best after parties for concerts Like Madonna, Elton John, Cold Play, The Killers, Lady Gaga and more – so you do have a slight chance of seeing a celebrity here. Relax in the lounge area or the Chill Out section next to the beach where you can sit back and enjoy a relaxed ambiance with a cocktail and VIP service during the whole night. Dance the night away with international people, the music you want, and a killer vibe. Moog

A hidden gem among the more popular bars and clubs, Moog is an “electronic dancing club” in the heart of Raval that is one of the best night clubs in Barcelona. People come here not for the fancy rooftop bar or luxurious lounge area, but for the pure fun of an exciting clubbing atmosphere. The dark club is located underground that makes it stand out from the beach side dance clubs you might be used to. Inside there are two rooms: the main room, in which you can enjoy listening to the best techno and electronic music in the city, and the Villarosa room, in which you can dance to the disco and pop 80’s beats. It’s nicely hidden away from the mainstream clubs and streets, but the intense electronic beats and cool atmosphere make sure there’s always a crowd.

Razzmatazz

Disco balls, booming speakers and pulsing lights hanging from a 60-foot ceiling are what you’ll find at this favorite Barcelona club established in 2000. What’s so special about this place? The disco was the first club in Spain to schedule five different spaces during all days of the week: Razzclub, The Loft, Lolita, Pop Bar, and Rex Room all with different environments and music. It also hosts concerts! The Loft has DJs spinning the latest techno, while the industrial-sized Razz Room attracts those wanting to get down to the hottest Top 40 hits and songs more mainstream for tourists. There are other rooms playing more electronic music, and have even more rooms good for sitting down and cooling off until you’re ready to dance again! The place is huge, so be sure to bring a good group, plenty of money for drinks, and get ready for the time of your life.

Pacha

Another one of Barcelona’s best clubbing spots is the oh-so-popular beachside night club, Pacha. Founded by two brothers first in Sitges, then Ibiza, and then spread to the rest of the world, Pacha is iconic for clubbing. Decorated in crisp whites and bright purple and pinks, the place is styled in classic Ibiza nightclub atmosphere. Next to other popular stops like Opium and Catwalk, the place is open every night of the week that plays different music each time- welcoming in international artists, djs, and club goers. Techno, R&B, and EDM are the popular tastes here. With three different VIP sections, you can relax on the luxurious white sofas and grab a drink while observing the rest of the party in a secluded setting. So, put on a nice dress or shirt and get ready for a Barcelona club you won’t forget.

Catwalk

Located in Port Olimpic, this popular Barcelona nightclub is full of tourists and locals ready to ring in the weekend. What makes this place cool is the two distinct areas of dancing for different music tastes that include the main room and sky room- they also have a terrace! If you’re into house or more mainstream tunes, head towards the main room. Fan of R&B and more interesting hits? Try the sky room. And if you want something with more class, try one of the VIP areas on every floor for a more private clubbing setting. This club is most lively Thursday-Sunday night where international students, travelers, and Barcelona natives stop by for the funky decor, fun lights, and music you can dance to all night (and morning) long.

Sutton

One of the best Barcelona clubs, Sutton, is described as “a club frequented by people with style and reference in the city of Barcelona”. Playing mostly house and hip hop music, this nightclub is one of the most glamorous and elite in the city. It has been visited by world renowned athletes, fashion designers, popular politicians, and more. So if you want a taste of the luxurious Sutton clubbing experience, dress your best and try to get there before 2AM when the party starts going. If you want the best of the best VIP treatment, reserve a table in the Moët and Grey Goose VIP Section for the ultimate service and perks. This area of the club is the most extravagant where you can enjoy a wide, central view of the club as well as a private atmosphere and intimate lighting.

Nuba

Very popular on Sunday nights, Nuba is a high class restaurant that turns into a lounge area and one of Barcelona’s most interesting nightclubs after dark. This club is smaller and more intimate than the others with exceptional service, an urban atmosphere, and surrounded by sophisticated club goers and chic cocktails. There’s also has an impressive terrace garden in Nuba that you have absolutely have to check out! If you’re looking for a hip and trendy spot for a more relaxed night out in a classy setting and vibe, you need to stop in more a drink at this modern Barcelona club.

Gatsby

Last but not least, Barcelona club, Gatsby, is unlike any clubbing experience you’ve ever had. Decked out in art deco style, the F. Scott Fitzgerald themed bar and lounge takes you back to the 20’s of The Great Gatsby. Enjoy cocktails, a live show, and mingling with international guests in a spot that takes you back to the years of prohibition with glamour, class, entertainment, and classic parties. With dancing and different jazz acts, there’s no way to be bored at Gatsby. When you walk in, you can see the dance floor, bar, raised stage for performances, and cool restaurant dining areas- all decorated in glamorous gold, white and teal.  The glimmering chandeliers, window open space, comfortable seating, and large gold mirrors make it seem like you’re in Gatsby’s luxurious party mansion.
