Man City Dominating Huddersfield, Tottenham Leaving it Late

Manchester City keeping their title race alive and well after picking up a comfortable away victory against struggling Huddersfield Town on Sunday.

Playing away from home didn’t stop City from dominating proceedings as they played their normal attacking football straight from kick off.

The visitor’s positive approach was rewarded after just 18 minutes of play through Danilo’s effort.

After the break, City kept on pouring forward as they eventually added their second on 54 minutes from Raheem Sterling’s strike, before Leroy Sane sealed that match two minutes later.

It was a pretty comfortable result indeed for Pep Guardiola’s men as they maintained that four points gap behind league leader, Liverpool.

In another match, Tottenham Hotspur also grabbed all three points on their weekend fixture, defeating Fulham 2-1 at Craven Cottage.

It was far from an easy match though as Spurs were struggling without Harry kane and Son Heung-Min up front.

Mauricio Pochettino’s men saw themselves trailing in the first 45 minutes as Claudio Ranieri’s men went one goal up through Fernando Llorente’s own goal after just 15 minutes of play.

Tottenham got back on level terms through Dele Alli’s close range header on 51 minutes and it was Harry Winks that secure all three points with his late goal in stoppage time.

A dramatic win indeed for Tottenham as they extend their lead in the third place seat of current Premier League standings.
