Napoli Fired Sarri, Appointed Ancelotti as Replacement

An interesting development arrived in Italian Serie A as Napoli decided to part ways with their previous coach Maurizio Sarri and replaced him with Carlo Ancelotti instead.

Despite having a relatively successful tenure with attractive playing style and ability to compete with Juventus in Serie A, Sarri’s uncertainties on continuing next season made the Partenopei opted that decision.

Ancelotti himself has been known for his positive CVs in winning many titles in Italy with AC Milan and abroad with several top teams, though his last experience at Bayern Munich didn’t end that well.

Nevertheless, it seems that Napoli believes Ancelotti’s experience can finally help them get over that hump of surpassing Juventus’ dominance, which they were very close of doing this past season.

The former Milan boss himself signed a three year deal with Partenopei and is thrilled with the opportunity and challenged he will be experiencing starting from next season.

Sarri himself is reportedly still pondering between Chelsea and Zenit Saint-Petersburg following his dismissal from Napoli.

The veteran coach is receiving many praises in recent years, notably for his exciting playing style, though still unable to deliver any titles for the Southern Italy based outfit during his reign.

That situation reportedly triggered several clash between Sarri and the Partenopei’s boss, Aurelio De Laurentis, who is known to be quite demanding and eccentric.
