Chile and Germany Shared a Point in a Thrilling Encounter

An exciting encounter was staged in Confederation Cup 2017 group B when South American champion, Chile, battle World Cup winner, Germany.

Joachim Low’s side might not send all of their best players for the tournament, but they do still have some exciting talent in stores.

Nevertheless, it was Chile that got things going on that Thrilling Encounter as Juan Antonio Pizzi’s men put on a high pressing football with fast paced attacking play which puts their opponent in lots of trouble.

The Copa America winner got their reward after just six minutes of play as Alexis Sanchez puts them in front with his fine execution from inside the penalty area.

Germany tried hard to get themselves back into the tie, triggering an exciting battle as Chile were very dangerous every time they broke up their opponent’s attacking setup.

It was quite the struggle for Low’s team, but from a swift counter attacking play, Der Panzer did manage to caught their opponent’s off guard as Lars Stindl finished off a nice attacking moves few minutes before half time break.

In the second half, that game continue to look exciting as both sides never seems to stop pushing forward in search for goals.

However, eventually those two teams were more than satisfied in getting one point as that puts them in the driving seat to advance into the knock out stage.
