The referees have now been intensely scrutinized as the calls for technology in the game grows louder. But the situation in Spain is a little tricky.

He got a number of decisions completely wrong on the night as Madrid won 2-1.
And even Madrid papers don’t understand how Navas wasn’t shown a red card or a penalty awarded for Betis after Carvajal’s tackle.
