The three English words Lionel Messi refused to say in Egypt (Video)

The fight against Hepatitis C received a huge boost as Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi joined hands to fight the disease.

Messi landed Cairo on Tuesday and returned back to Barcelona in time for Thursday’s training session.

While in Egypt he took part in a ‘Tour n Cure’ campaign. The campaign is aimed at promoting Egypt as a medical tourism destination for hepatitis C patients.

A blood-borne viral disease, hepatitis C is highly prevalent in Egypt. Globally, it affects between 130 to 150 million people with 500,000 deaths yearly.

And patients can now get the best treatment with no waiting time at an affordable rate.

Messi had a series of programs lined up for him, even though he had some spare time to tour the pyramids.

Among his official activities was an interview during which Messi told to say “I love Egypt” in English.

When the task was interpreted, Leo refused and simply said he doesn’t speak English.

He obviously didn’t fully understand what he was asked to do.
