WHY THIS STAT MAY ENSURE A TOP FOUR FINISH FOR LIVERPOOL

After Saturday's 3-1 defeat of Everton in the derby at Anfield, one interesting point has emerged for the remainder of the Season.
We have played all the top 7 teams in the Premier League still unbeaten and we don't meet any of them again in 2016/17.

We have to play Bournemouth, Crystal Palace, Southampton and Middlesbrough at home and Stoke, WBA, Watford and West Ham away in our Finish to the 2017 Premier League campaign.

Difficult games there for sure against clubs we have lost to already this Season, yet we seemed to have turned a corner lately.

We have learned how to protect a lead against teams we had struggled against earlier in the Campaign.

Yes, we still give away silly goals from corners but a resilience is finally emerging in Jurgen Klopp's second season at Liverpool.

We sit pretty in 3rd and if we can maintain this momentum then we have a good chance of staying in the top four and qualifying for The Champion's League.

Fingers crossed.
