Nothing too crazy here. No. 11 is the same Jersey number he wore playing college football for North Dakota State. It was was also one of the following six numbers only available for Wentz to use: 2, 3, 11, 14, 16, 19.

11 was previously being worn by Eagles wide receiver Chris Givens, who signed with the team as a free agent earlier this offseason. No word on what Givens will wear now. He wore 19 with the Rams last season before getting traded so maybe he'll chose that. It's currently available.
The last Eagles player to actually been seen in a No. 11 jersey was ... Tim Tebow. Yeah. Here's your complete list of No. 11 jersey history.
