Arsenal and Chelsea FC both remain interested in a deal to sign Nice star Jean Michael Seri, according to Dharmesh Sheth.
The Ivory Coast international has been linked with a lucrative move to a top European club on a regular basis over the past few months.
The 26-year-old has attracted plenty of interest from the Premier League with Arsenal, Chelsea FC, Manchester City and Manchester United all interested.
Seri scored two goals and made five assists in 31 games in Ligue 1 last season as Nice finished in eighth spot in the French top flight table.
The African midfielder would certainly improve Arsenal’s options in the middle of the park, while he could complement N’Golo Kante at Chelsea FC.
Sky Sports News reporter Sheth claimed that a deal for Seri is still some way off but tipped the dynamic midfielder to command a £35m price tag.
“The information I am getting is Chelsea and Arsenal remain interested in signing Seri,” Sheth told the Transfer Talk podcast.
“The managerial position at Chelsea is uncertain. That could be a stumbling block.
“Arsenal are thought to be looking at other players. He is available at £35m.”
Arsenal finished in sixth spot in the Premier League table last season to miss out on a Champions League spot for the second successive season.
The north London side lost 3-0 to Premier League champions Manchester City in the League Cup final at Wembley last term.
