The Boston Bruins scored four goals in the third period to comeback an defeat the Toronto Maple Leafs 7-4 in Game 7 of their Eastern Conference First Round series.
The Bruins went into the third period trailing by one goal (4-3), but Boston’s leader, Patrice Bergeron helped set up third-period markers by Torey Krug (4-4) and David Pastrnak (6-4). Bergeron wraps up the first round with a goal and eight points in six games.
Rookie Jake DeBrusk scored a pair of goals, including the go-ahead goal on a beautiful individual effort to make it 5-4 for his team. The 21-year-old had a solid opening round, as he collected five goals and seven points in seven games
