The Boston Bruins scored four goals in the third period to comeback an defeat the Toronto Maple Leafs 7-4 in Game 7 of their Eastern Conference First Round series.

The Bruins went into the third period trailing by one goal (4-3), but Boston’s leader, Patrice Bergeron helped set up third-period markers by Torey Krug (4-4) and David Pastrnak (6-4). Bergeron wraps up the first round with a goal and eight points in six games.

Rookie Jake DeBrusk scored a pair of goals, including the go-ahead goal on a beautiful individual effort to make it 5-4 for his team. The 21-year-old had a solid opening round, as he collected five goals and seven points in seven games

Danton Heinen, Patrice Bergeron, David Pastrnak and Brad Marchand also found the back of the net for the Bruins.

Boston will now face the Tampa Bay Lightning in the second round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
