2013 BNP Paribas Open Results

Rafael Nadal won the Bnp Paribas Open on Sunday, March 17, 2013. This was his third title out of four tournaments he has played, beating Juan Martin del Potro with a 4-6, 6-3, 6-4 defeat. The win comes briefly after return from a seven month layoff caused by a left knee injury. Nadal moves up to number four in the rankings, breaking a tie with Roger Federer.

Also in the 2013 BNP Paribas Open, Maria Sharapova beat Caroline Wozniacki 6-2, 6-2. The title was her first big win of the year and paid her $1 million. It's now 11 straight years going back to 2003 where she has won at least one title.

In doubles, the Bryan brothers beat Treat Huey of the Philippines and Jerzy Janowicz of Poland with a 6-3, 3-6, 10-6 victory, making it their first Bnp Paribas Open title win.
