I think I will do this by downs to cover a variety of things...

1st DOWN - Perfect season no more
Talk about creating an uproar... Colt fans are all fired up and even some ESPN analyst are up in arms. Why? Did you expect something different? You knew all along this is the way it goes in Indy land. Do I think its right? NO. Is it fair to the players to be winning and yank your starters for health concerns?? Give me a break. We all know that Manning has not been sacked but a handful of times with something like 1000 passing attempts, so stop w/the concern over your QB. This team had a chance to do something few ever do and its been robbed from them and their fans. I am the first to say I like nothing more than seeing Manning get beat, but not this way...

2nd DOWN - NFC is up for the taking
The NFC is a toss up in the air and see who comes down. I believe the Cowboys, Packers or Eagles could scrap their way to New Orleans and put the beat down on the Saints. Let's not forget those Cards. This will be one January to watch these NFC games. Starting Sunday, Cowboys vs. Eagles in a game of redemption for the Boys who were humiliated last year in Philly for a playoff spot. Will Romo be the guy to finally come out on top & carry this team to an NFC East title or will McNabb out play the Boys in a game with high stakes? Should be interesting. Then there are the Packers vs. Cards game - although both teams are in & could possibly turn around & play each other again, will each team show their complete hand in this game or will they hide some offensive/defensive plays and save it for the next round? Should be interesting.
3rd DOWN - AFC playoff picture will clear up Sunday
Are you thinking that the Pats are done? Are you a believer that sitting your starters in hopes of
making it to the Super Bowl is a good idea? Well, folks both of those questions are False (my opinion of course). The Patriots are playing better than ever & I am guessing that Belichick will not pull a Caldwell and rest the Pats in this upcoming game vs. Houston. Texans need to win and have help to make the playoffs so I expect a good game. The Colts vs. Bills game is a waste of TV space. The Bill fans should be refunded the ticket price b/c their team sucks and they won't see much of Manning other than tantrums he throws at backup QB Painter. I suspect that Miami vs. Pitt game will be one to watch as well. Both teams need to win and help to even get in so they both will put it all out on the field in a good game @ 1pm. By the end of the Jets vs. Bengals game, the AFC picture will be clear. I say none of these teams really want to play the hot Chargers or the Patriots. Look out January, its going to get good.
