Daily Mail reports that Manchester Untied Captain Nemanja Vidic may be out for the rest of the season after he was injured in the champions league match against Basel.

Vidic's representative Silvano Martina, said: 'He has ruptured his cruciate ligament. He will be out for several months.'

The Club has not yet given any official word on Vidic's Injury but if claims made by Silvano Martina are correct the defender will be out for several months.

United refused to comment on Thursday night, saying that manager Sir Alex Ferguson would expand on the situation.
