We are excited to unveil the latest feature to hit the RecruitLook community… “Twitter” integration. Twitter is the fastest growing social network/marketing website on the web today. Twitter allows people to follow sources relevant to them and access information as it happens. Known as a tweet – members get 140 characters to tell followers “what they are doing.” Learn more about twitter by visiting their web site http://www.twitter.com.

We have integrated Twitter for all our members to access. With this feature you can now stay connected with friends, and follow college recruiters more closely. Twitter is a great tool to briefly tweet information that recruiters, coaches and fans can find useful. This feature is not only for athletes to expand their marketing reach, but also for college coaches to discover and connect with high school athletes.

Account Options:

• Made with oAuth authentication protocol which means more security and user privacy.
• Twitter’s ‘Home’ and ‘Profile’ Page for users with a cloned Ajaxed Interface just like Twitter.
• Send Message to Twitter in real time with status update box just like twitter along with counter for 140 character input validation.
• Relative time stamp for tweets just like twitter.
• Latest tweets are automatically fetched and displayed when users visit Twitter home, profile or update pages in RecruitLook.
• Users can REPLY to tweets without page loading just like twitter along with seperate page for replies.
• Followers, followings and updates count with links to corresponding pages.
• Twitter profile image is fetched and displayed along with Intelligent Twitter profile information.
• Separate Followers and Following page along with pagination mimicking twitter with all relevant information and avatars.
• Tweets can be DELETED with twitter like Ajaxed interface.
• User can make tweets FAVORITE without leaving RecruitLook with a twitter like Ajaxed interface and separate page for Favorites like twitter.
• User can FOLLOW / UNFOLLOW other users right from their profile with an Ajaxed interface just like twitter.
• Displays “Tweet Box” in profile page with latest tweets, followers, followings, update counts, and twitter profile avatar.
• RSS feed link.
• phpFoX profile image with online/offline status, membership type, location, gender, age, profile views are displayed throughout the twitter pages.
• Ajax Twitter status update form in “My Account” page.

My Account Options:

• Opt out box to revoke the twitter integration.
• User can Enable/Disable his/her Twitter Profile Page in phpFoX.
• User can enable/disable “Tweet Box” from shoing up in profile.
• User can set how many tweets to be displayed in “Tweet Box” in profile.
