The Dominican women's volleyball team qualified for the Olympic Games in London with his 3-1 victory over Cuba in the NORCECA regional tournament.
The Dominicans were imposed on Saturday night the Cubans with partial 25-18, 25-23, 27-29, 25-20.
The set female from the Dominican Republic is the sixth ranks the London Olympics after the U.S., Italy, China, Algeria and hosts Britain.
The Dominicans will participate for the second time in Olympic women's volleyball since the sport was included in the competitionsin 1964. The Dominicans also participated in Athens in 2004, they finished in eleventh place.
In the semifinals of the NORCECA qualifying tournament, the Dominican Republic defeated Canada 3-0 (25-15, 25-18, 25-15) while Cuba defeated Puerto Rico 3-1 (23-25, 25-17, 25-19, 25-22).
