From a total purse of Rs 47 crores, Chennai Super Kings spent Rs 40.5 to buy 22 players across the two days at IPL Auction 2018.


 Rs 7.8 crore, middle order batsman Kedar Jadhav was the two-time champions costliest buy who had retained MS Dhoni, Suresh Raina and Ravindra Jadeja ahead of the auction.
