Game Week 23 was the best game week ever so far in this 2017-18 season. There were a lot of intriguing matches across England. Many players have performed well so they can have a chance to list their names in the World Cup squad.

• Crystal Palace defeated Burnley FC by 1-0 and the only goal of that match was scored by Bakary Sako on 21st minute.

• Mark Noble opened the scoring for West Ham against Huddersfield on the 25th minute, but Huddersfield’s Joe Lolly equalized on the 40th minute and the score on the half time was 1-1. On the start of the second half, Marko Arnautovic scored on the 46th minute for West Ham and later on, a brace by Manuel Lanzini on 56th and 61st minuted sealed the win for West Ham by 4-1.
• Swansea City and Newcastle played against each other where Jordan Ayew opened the scoring for Swansea on the 60th minute but 8 minutes later Joselu equalized on the 68th minute and the game ended in a draw by 1-1.
• On game week 23 West Brom hosted Brighton where Brighton lost by 2-0 and the goals were scored by Jonny Evans on the 4th minute and Craig Dawson on the 55th minute.

• Watford and Southampton game was quite amazing where Watford made comeback and drew the match against Southampton by 2-2. The goal scorers were James Ward-Prowse (Southampton) on 20th and 44th minute and from Watford it were Andre Gray and Abdoulaye Doucoure on 58th and 90th minute respectively.
• Chelsea hosted Leicester City where the game ended in a goal less draw, From the start Leicester had a fast and intense approach and keeping the pressure high prevented Chelsea from controlling the game. But after the 68th minute there was an advantage to Chelsea where Ben Chilwell from Leicester got a red card and they were a man down. But then also Chelsea couldn’t take that advantage and ended up in a draw.
• Tottenham played Everton where the visitors lost by 4-0. The goal scorers were Son Heung-min at 29th minute, Harry Kane at 47th and 59th minute and Christian Erikson at 81st minute. On scoring a brace Harry Kane became the all time top scorer for Tottenham Hotspurs.
• Bournemouth hosted Arsenal on game week 23, where the hosted defeated Arsenal by going a goal down and the making a comeback and sealing the win by 2-1. The goal scorers of the match were Hector Bellerin (Arsenal) 52nd minute and from Bournemouth Callum Wilson and Jordan Ibe at 70th and 74th minute respectively.

• On Sunday Liverpool hosted Manchester City. This match is so far the game of the season according to me. Liverpool opened the scoring on the 9th minute by Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, afterwards Manchester City equalized on 40th minute by Leroy Sane and the score on half time was 1-1. Later on the second half, Liverpool took the lead where Roberto Firmino scored on the 59th minute and the goals were coming for Liverpool as Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah scored on the 61st and 68th minute respectively. The game was over for Manchester City after the goal of Mohamed Salah but they fought till the end of the game and the score on full time was 4-3 and the 22 games unbeaten run for City came to an end. The 2 goals for City were scored by Bernardo Silva and Iikay Gundagon on the 84th and 91st minute respectively.

• The last match of this game week was played between Manchester United and Stoke City. Where United hosted Stoke and won by 3-0. The goals from Manchester United were scored by Antonio Valencia, Anthony Martial and Romelu Lukaku at 9th, 38th and 72nd minute respectively.
