Man United will top the table? Premier League weekend predictions!

I hardly think that someone would be surprised if Manchester United wins at Liberty Stadium on Saturday and top the Premier League table for another week. A Red Devils win is a safe projection, most of the pundits and football experts think that they would win by 0:2 and I’ll stick to that one.

Swansea vs Manchester United

Most football expert thinks that Swans would lose that one by 0:2. It looks like an easy win for Jose Mourinho’s team. I thin that the Swans will give United a fight, however and would score one. So, I’m going for an united win by 1:2.

Bournemouth vs Watford

Watford have been very lucky against Liverpool. some of the referee’s decision went their way as well as this equalizer in the stoppage time. It is not going to be an easy season for Bournemouth as everyone probably expects them to be on the same level as they were last campaign. Whatever happens over the course of this Premier League season, The Cherries look like a good team and they should be winning a fixtures like this one. I’m going for 1:0 win for the home side.

Burnley vs West Brom

I don’t expect Burnley to loose this game, but they might not also win it. It will be very different from the Clarets visit to Stamford Bridge they want 2:3. West Bromwich Albion will give them a fight and the draw is a very likely result. It looks to me that Burnley will win that one, but last week I have underestimated West Brom and i’m not going to do it again. So, let’s go for 1:1.

Leicester City vs Brighton

In the Brighton season preview I wrote that the Seagulls will have a good season and will stay in the Premier League. I still think they will make it, but I don;t see them taking points at King Power Stadium. I was impressed by the way Foxes played against Arsenal last week. they would have won this fixture, if they played against any other team who doesn’t have strikers like Olivier Giroud. I’m going for 2:1 win for Leicester.

Liverpool vs Crystal Palace

Traditions says that… Crystal Palace is going to win this fixture. They have done that within the last few seasons and they are one of the teams that know how to play against Liverpool. However, Palace have a number of injury worries and unlike last season, now they have a Frank De Boer in charge, who is manager that wants them to play football, not just to close spaces, sit deep and defend. Palace will have a lot of problems this season as they are a team in transition. Liverpool really want to win this fixture and I think they will do it by 2:1.

Southampton vs West Ham

I have no idea where the Saints and the hammers stand this season. West Ham were very easily beaten by Man United last week. Southampton need to win at home if they want to avoid a relegation battle this season. This one looks like 2:1 to me.

Stoke City Vs Arsenal

I will tip Gunners to win this one, despite that Stoke city have bolstered their squad. They have just secured the loan signing of Jese Rodriguez, a player who has score 18 times in 63 games for Real Madrid between 2011 and 2016. What a signing? Mark Hughes would need some time to get the best of his squad and he knows that. What would be result in this game? It sounds like 1:2 to me.

Huddersfield vs Newcastle United

The Terriers have surprised everyone last week by winning in London against Crystal Palace by 0:3. Who could project that a team that finished last year in the Championship o na negative goal difference would win its first away fixture in the Premier League by 3 goals difference. It happens in the Premier League. The second fixture for the Terriers would be a difficult one. Most experts say that they will draw their home game against Newcastle, but The Magpies have some injury worries. Despite that 1:1 sound like a possible result.

Tottenham vs Chelsea

I think that Spurs will win they first London derby this season by 2:1. Antonio Conte is not going the right direction at the moment. For any reason he talks too much about other things that Chelsea’s development. He has recently questioned Spurs ambitions, now he has been involved into ugly dispute with Diego Costa. I think Chelsea will be good this season, but this weekend Conte will have some first hand experience with Tottenham’s ambitions. This game looks like a 2:1 Spurs win.

Manchester City vs Everton

This should be an easy win for Manchester City and most football experts project 2:0. City would win, but it is not going to be an easy fixture for them. Everton will give the Sky Blues a fight and i think that they’d score. i’m going for 2:1 win for the home side.
