Punch-up on board jet as passenger allegedly refuses to stop farting

The Transavia Flight had to be diverted to Austria after the fight (file photo).

The Transavia Airlines flight was on route to the Dutch capital of Amsterdam from Dubai when fellow flyers complained that the windy traveller was breaking wind, reports the Daily Mail.

This led to a fight breaking out and the crew was forced to intervene.

The pilot then decided to divert to Vienna, Austria.

Two of those removed were young women and one of them, only identified as Nora L, said they should have stayed on board.

"It was crazy that we were included, we had no idea who these boys were, we just had the bad luck to be in the same row and we didn't do anything," reports the Daily Mail.

There were no arrests as the passengers had not broken any Austrian laws but Transavia is refusing to carry them again.
