With 3 wickets in 4 overs, the man of the match rightly went to Ben Stokes – the inclusion of Tahir into the XI makes Pune a stronger bowling side. The batting has big names that if fire on their day (Smith, Dhoni, Rahane, Stokes, Christian/DuPlessi) can help Pune put on big runs on the board or chase big totals down.

The Sunrisers Hyderabad has further strengthened it’s top-order and will be aiming for a total in excess of 160+, which their strong bowling unit can defend.
2 wins in 2 matches puts SRH back at top of the table
With 4 wins in their 6 matches, SRH is currently placed at the 2nd spot in the points table. The Hyderabad side suffered 2 shocking losses after a rather impressive start to IPL 2017 but the last 2 matches have again put them back at the top of the table.

The Sunrisers Hyderabad decided to drop Nabi to play an additional batsman in Kane Williamson against Delhi Daredevils and sure enough, the move fired right away so much so Williamson was adjudged the MOTM. Having lost Warner for just 4 runs, Dhawan and Williamson put 136 runs for the 2nd wicket – with Williamson falling for a well-made 89 in the 16th over, with the score at 150. SRH reached to 191 in 20 overs and restricted Delhi Daredevils for 176 in their 20 overs, making this their 2nd consecutive win, putting SRH at 2nd spot in points table.

Both the teams are coming into this match with a win in their last match but the Sunrisers Hyderabad find themselves at the 2nd spot in the points table, while Rising Pune Supergiant are at the 7th spot – SRH is favourite to win.
