MI all-rounder Krunal Pandya posts a thank-you message for the loyal fans of the franchise who support them no matter what
The defending champions Mumbai Indians crashed out of IPL 2018 after losing to Delhi Daredevils in a must-win clash. After being at the bottom of the table after their first 6 matches, MI made a very good comeback to reach the 4th place on the points table. Before their last match, the only thing that they needed was a win which would have sealed the fate of Rajasthan Royals and earned MI a place in the playoffs.

Delhi Daredevils was the first team to be knocked out of the tournament. On Sunday, it was expected from the Mumbai side that they would win the match and qualify for the playoffs. However, the inspired Delhi leg-spinners did not let that happen and MI had to bow out of the league. It was a big upset of the tournament given the record that MI possesses in the latter half of the tournament every year.
After the defeat, MI fans could not believe that their team had lost and were heartbroken. But the fans have been loyal to the side through their thick and thin. For these fans, the star all-rounder, also known as ‘Bade bhaiya’, posted a ‘thank you’ message for the fans. It said,“Tough situations build strong people. Thank you Paltan for your support and love. We will be back stronger next year.”

With KXIP also being knocked out of the tournament in the last league match, IPL 2018 will not see a new winner.
Currently, the top placed Sunrisers Hyderabad have now lost three matches in a row and have no momentum going into the playoffs. Chennai Super Kings will play the Qualifier 1 with a win in the last game.
Kolkata Knight Riders and Rajasthan Royals, both coming into the knockout stages having won their last games, will be more inspired than ever as they have to win twice before playing the finals in Mumbai.
