Fantasy Premier League Gameweek 35 Review

The FPLGeneral looks at five key points following Gameweek 35 in Fantasy Premier League.

Salah gets his 31st

Salah was on the score sheet yet again in Liverpool’s 2-2 draw at West Brom. The Egyptian was one of our ‘must-have’ players for GW35, as he is almost every week. He’s sitting comfortably at the top of the premier league goal scoring charts, five ahead of Tottenham’s Harry Kane.

Man City run riot

Pep Guardiola’s side showed no signs that they’ll be taking their feet off the gas in the final few games of the season. They blitzed Swansea 5-0 at the Etihad in their first home game since securing the title. The likes of Raheem Sterling, David Silva and Gabriel Jesus look like great Fantasy Football options for the season run-in.

Baines rolls back the years

Quite a few FPL managers put their faith in the Everton defender for gameweek 35 and it payed off. Everton kept a clean sheet and the Englishman picked up a few bonus points as well.

Hennessey the hero for Palace

The Welsh shot-stopper put in a fine display to earn Crystal Palace an important point in the 0-0 draw with Watford. Fantasy Premier League managers who owned him this week reaped the benefits.

Arnie delivers

The Austrian has been a great FPL asset since David Moyes took over as West Ham manager. He’s scored 10 goals and provided 5 assists this season and looks to be a great pick for the run-in with a double gameweek on the horizon.
