Harry Kane
Fixture: Spurs vs West Brom (Saturday 15.00)
Form: 8 goals in 11 Premier League appearances.
Kane has only scored 2 goals at home this season in the league (a brace against Liverpool in GW9) but its hard to ignore him for a home tie against manager-less West Brom.
He has been very frustrating to own this season, but patience is key in Fantasy Premier League. Spurs should win this comfortably and I’m going to be putting my faith in Harold once again for GW13.
Let’s not forget he’s scored 83 Premier League goals over the past 3 and a bit seasons. I expect to see him back at the top of the goalscorer charts come Saturday evening.
Paul Pogba
Fixture: Manchester United vs Brighton (Saturday 15.00)
Form: 3 goals & 4 assists in 5 Premier League starts
It’s well documented that Manchester United are a much better outfit when Paul Pogba is in the team. We seen it again in the 4-1 win over Newcastle in GW12. It was the first time United scored more than one goal in a gameweek since beating Crystal Palace 4-0 in GW7.
Pogba is the most popular transfer in in FPL for GW13 and its easy to see why given his performance against the Magpies (1 goal & 1 assist). I fear for Brighton this weekend now that United seem to be firing on all cylinders again. The Frenchman is a must-have for your Sportito XI on Saturday.
Romelu Lukaku
Fixture: Manchester United vs Brighton (Saturday 15.00)
Form: 8 goals & 3 assists in the Premier League this season.
The Belgian scored his first goal since GW7 against Newcastle to bring his tally to 8 for the campaign (just one behind Mohamed Salah). With Pogba back from injury to pull the strings in midfield, we should see more from Lukaku over the coming weeks. All of his goals this season have come against the lesser sides in the league.
Brighton have been impressive as a newly-promoted side but United should roll them over comfortably.
Mohamed Salah
Fixture: Liverpool vs Chelsea (Saturday 17.30)
Form: 12 attacking returns in 12 games (9 goals & 3 assists)
Salah is right up there as one of the most essential Fantasy Premier League players this season. He scored his 2nd consecutive brace in GW12 which sees him sit at the top of the goalscorer charts. He looks even more dangerous now with Sadio Mane & Philippe Coutinho back in the team after injury.
Salah faces his former club on Saturday evening. Chelsea are renowned for being solid at the back but its difficult to see them keeping Salah and co. out. Across all competitions, the Reds have scored 16 goals in their last 5 matches.
Leroy Sane
Fixture: Huddersfield vs Manchester City (Sunday 16.00)
Form: 6 goals & 6 assists in 12 appearances
The German has been sensational for Manchester City this season. He was rested for the midweek Champions League tie so he should start against Huddersfield on Sunday. City have scored 40 goals in 12 matches. You have to fear for the Terriers this weekend who conceded 4 against Bournemouth in GW12. This could be a cricket score.
