Wilshere keen to return to Arsenal, Gunners move for Belotti and Pires backs Wenger

Wilshere keen

Jack Wilshere is still keen for a starting role at Arsenal next season according to reports. Wilshere has continued to claim he does not know where he will play next season, however with German International Mesut Ozil’s future still unsure, Wilshere could yet play a key role next season for the Gunners. What Wilshere needs to do is be able to remain fit for a season with Arsenal for a chance to prove himself. He is currently on loan at Bournemouth and has played majority of the games this season, although has been used as a substitute in recent games.

Sir Szczesny

Wojciech Szczesny will not be returning to the club whilst Manager Arsene Wenger is in charge. That is according to the President of the Polish Association Zbigniew Boniek. The pair were at dinner together when the Polish goal keeper spoke to Boniek. With current keeper Petr Cech out of form and David Ospina possibly leaving in the summer, it seemed to make sense bringing Szczesny back to the club especially with his improved form, however that now seems very unlikely.

Nathan Tella

Arsenal youth winger Nathan Tella has signed a permanent deal with Southampton after being told he would not be offered a professional contract with Arsenal. The 17-year-old is a skilful player but has struggled with injuries whilst at Arsenal.

Suarez confusion

Arsene Wenger has lifted the lid on the strange bid for Luis Suarez back in 2013 when the club bid £40,000,0001. According to Wenger, Arsenal had an agreement with the player, who seemed very interested in joining from Liverpool, however they were wrongly advised on his release clause, hence the crazy, embarrassing bid.

Belotti bid

According to the Express, Arsenal have tabled a £43m bid for Italian striker Andrea Belotti. The 23 year old Torino striker has been in excellent form in Serie A this season, but is attracting interest from other top clubs.

Happy Ozil

Mesut Ozil has reiterated that he is happy at Arsenal and living in London. Ozil says talks will continue in the summer with a view to signing a new contract.

Pires backs Wenger

Another ex-player, this time Robert Pires, has come out and backed manager Arsene Wenger. Pires said that Wenger needs to stay, to bring stability to the club. So much backing from ex-players and current players ensuring positive vibes are being sent out to all supporters, just before the Wenger announcement that he has signed a new contract for another two years. Clever stuff
