Jesus is Stripped of his garments

Jesus arrived at Calvary. The soldiers stripped him of his garments and prepared him. Jesus was ready for his cross. He would take from us the soiled garment of sin and cloth us with the
garment of his righteousness

After the long journey, Jesus arrived at the place of sacrifice.
He was stripped and prepared to pay sin’s heavy price.
Jesus was now at Calvary, the place where he would die.
He stood on the hill where he would be lifted high.

Lord Jesus, you endured the shame and suffered in our place.
Strip us of false pride. Fill us with your grace.
May we humble ourselves and walk in both faith and love.
Keep us on the path that leads us to the home above.

Jesus, you arrived at the place of sacrifice.
You were prepared and ready to pay sin’s price.
Strip all evil and pride from me.
Clothe me with righteousness and set me free.
