First of all, this message is NOT going to be about how constant cell Phone use is a terrible, awful, very bad thing, so let’s get that out of the way.

Phones are fun! All the things you can do on them besides talking…reading this blog post, texting, countless apps, the internet, music, pictures…I mean I used my phone to make the video above. I love my phone! I can’t live without it! And yet, that doesn’t seem like a good thing. So when Jen asked me to ask the ascended masters about cell phone addition (she is annoyed by her phone!), I got right to it.

Basically, the gist of what they said is:

• Cell phones are helping us to become more telepathic
• A new form of groupthink is being created through the use of these devices
• People are grounding into their phones instead of the earth and THAT’S not so great
• It’s important to take time away from the phone and do activities that engage you entirely
• It’s also important to spend time with people in the flesh

So basically, if you think of telepathy as a spiritual practice (and I do, because telepathy goes hand in hand with intuition, which connects you to the divine), phones can help with that and that’s great. They can also help you to stay connected to others, and to participate in this new form of groupthink that’s being created.

However, too much involvement in the world of your phone will cause you to be ungrounded and not here in this 3-D reality that is all around you.

So, time you can spend without engaging with your phone is good, and the use of your phone is good too. Everything in moderation. As for breaking the addiction, they recommend just putting it down, taking breaks, etc. They actually said to not get annoyed or irritated with it, or it will start to malfunction – and you don’t need THAT!
