In 1921-22, when British Govt planned to open two cow-slaughter factories in रतौना & लाहौर for Army's beef food supply. People protested. And British Govt dropped idea of slaughter assembly line.
Post-1947, no govt respected citizens (& respect for गौमाता) and slaughter growth was accelerated. Free and Independent India!
