Heartbeats
Some years ago, I was told by a doctor that I had an irregular heartbeat. That my heart skipped one beat out of every five or six. The medical profession considers this a condition that needs to be treated with drugs. I was prescribed a drug, but after several months I stopped taking it. I had heard about the nasty side effects of such statin drugs. That was six or seven years ago and it hasn’t killed me yet.
I don’t know if Mr. Douno’s beliefs on this subject are true or not. I think the spiritual heart stays connected to the spiritual worlds while the physical stays in the physical world. I don’t think the physical heart ever visits the spiritual worlds. Nor does any other part of the physical body. Jesus said, after all, that flesh cannot inherit the Kingdom. Only spirit can be in the spiritual worlds.
I also find it heard to believe that among the billions of people on Earth, all have a unique heartbeat pattern. There many be many different patterns, thousands perhaps, but not billions. What is important is his mention of cycles with regard to heartbeats.
Heartbeat Cycles
Everything in the physical universe operates in cycles, and the human heart is no exception. Douno points out that the heart has a daily cycle of twelve ascending hours, and twelve descending hours. He also mentions that there are other cycles of the heart including monthly and yearly. This is all true, but is only the tip of the iceberg.
The heart is the physical organ most often connected with the soul by spiritual writers. Since the soul and spirit are primarily affected by Solar Cycles, it is reasonable to assume that the physical heart is also.
We know that much in the physical world is affected by solar cycles. Most prominent among them is the seasons of the year. Planting in spring and harvesting of most food plants in the fall is not arbitrary. It is sensibly following the cycles of nature. More specifically, following solar cycles.
Solar Cycles
There are solar cycles measured in days, months and years. We in Cosolargy know, for example, that an organization will go through cycles of three or four years of growth, followed by a similar period of no growth. Knowing this helps save you effort and money by not bothering to advertise often during a down cycle.
The confused mess of modern Astrology is really just an attempt to understand the effects of solar cycles on our birth. And I think it is reasonable to assume that heartbeat cycles are related to your birthday and the associated solar cycles. A Bio-rhythm chart is actually a better way to keep tract of these personal cycles than Astrology.
Daily Changes
Heartbeats and heartbeat cycles can also be affected temporarily by many other things. We all know that a fright can cause our heartbeat to increase. So can anger and other negative emotions. But we can calm it down with things like soothing music or a walk in a park. So we do have some control over heartbeats and heartbeat cycles. Still, it behooves us to pay attention to such cycles, and act accordingly.
