As for the substantial Reality of all this, everything that you experience is grounded in this body of information. Everything that you had the potential to experience, everything that “manufactured” your ability to experience this world, is also grounded in this information. You are incapable of making up anything alien to it. You literally cannot construct something foreign to your brain and its sense impressions range of ability and expression. All of your behaviour is based on this shared information. Everything we have ever invented was first imagined within this framework.

So I will ask you, are the things I have mentioned real? Are things as you assume them to be real?

They have to be for me to be real.

Some things truly aren’t real…like money. It’s completely made up by people. Indeed, money is one of those assumptions human beings are so heavily invested in since we live behind a veil of assumed reality. Virtual Reality, if you will permit. Then perhaps the goal of our life and experience is to refine that virtual reality, broaden and improve it’s functionality. Given that we are innately constrained in our understanding of the entirety of this reality we share, is it really so foolish to accept that we make things up?

It’s like we all exist in this complex role play. Indeed, and it would seem to me that Acceptance of that fact is a necessary first step in beginning to understand our existence and creative control of our own being. Nurturing our own deepest and most authentic capacity for individual agency rather than being a sleeping mirror of a vandalized and derelict two dimensional substitute for a genuine reality.

“All the world’s a stage…” Yes and right now the backdrop is crap, fashioned with lead paint and booby trapped supports.

We can make it better, though. Indeed we can. I hope we shall. There is much more that can be said about this topic, so if it’s of interest I could start a series just exploring the nuances of collective memory.
