Solution for "Illegal copy of Action!" problem



This problem occurs in the following situations:
  • You have copied some 3rd party files into Action! Screen Recorder Installation directory
  • You have installed older Action! Screen Recorder version without uninstalling newer version first
  • Something went wrong during installation and some file were not copied correctly

To fix the problem please follow the steps below:

  • Go to Action! Screen Recorder Installation Directory (default location: C:\Program Files (x86)\Mirillis\Action!) and click Uninstall.exe
  • Follow instructions and uninstall Action! Screen Recorder
  • Make sure that all files from Action! Screen Recorder installation directory has been deleted. If you experience any problems during uninstall, in example with some files access, please restart your PC and try again.
  • Download the latest Action! version
  • Install Action! Screen Recorder on your PC
